---------------------------------------------------

-Select highest rank (You must be in the lead flight to play this campaign properly)
-Set No Instant Success to OFF
-It is advisable to set all Flight Model Realism settings to OFF (as generally, with advanced jets)
-This campaign is not supposed to be played on autopilot, it will not work properly.
-Instead use level stabilizer for transit legs, as it was used in real life as well.
-This campaign is best played with HUD mod for waypoint navigation and other flight info.

The Thud had a sophisticated nav system, so I think it's a realistic amount of info to have wayponts and player icon set to ON for the minimap. You would not get lost in a Thud.

Formation managment can be tricky with the Thud, remember, it's a big bomber at heart. Here are two words of advise:
1) After takeoff and during your climb, maintain a relatively high speed or the AI will go bonkers trying to form up. If you are too slow, they are prone to crash into each other while doing stupid maneuvering.
2) Around initial forming up, it is advisable to instruct your flight to "loosen formation", so everyone has more space. This reduces the likeliness of AI to crash into each other when following your turns on the flightpath! Do soft turns while in formation.

I included a few missions that simulate EB-66 guided radar drops from high altitude.
The lead aircraft itself is just for show, for you to follow in formation.  On the last leg to the droppoint, be sure to line up with the OBOE drop marker, using level stabilizer and rudder trim! Results of altitude drops may vary.

Make sure to catch all your waypoints or AI won't drop. HUD mod is a great help here as it visualizes nav info and waypoint info. If you skip a waypoint, be sure to order flight to go to "next waypoint" to ensure they know when it's time to attack. You can see what's up next in HUD mod.

Be sure to have weapons toggle keys set and also bomb pattern toggle key set. You should think about drop patterns and select those that fit the target situation best.

Oh, and please return the external fuel tanks! They are fucking expensive and the Pentagon will deduct this from your salary if you drop them without need. Well, at least it will cost you a round for the squad...

special thanks to test pilot enry711 and skin maker ecf111 :)

Really great campaign. Thanks for creating.
Inspired me to upgrade some camo versions of the F105 of Ranwers Default.
