Series Heinkel He 100/112 VVS and IJN
« on: December 15, 2019, 04:34:16 AM »

Here is a second package of skins for the Heinkel He 100/112.
Following the advice of EHood, I started looking for some skins for both Russian and Japanese aircraft. I found the biggest problem for Russian skins, as there isn't much information about it ...
so I followed the Wings Palette site directive: (http://wp.scn.ru/en/ww2/f/228/65)
While for the other skins I made up for this site here:
I thank as always "101tfs" for the Template and all those who have worked on the realization of this model, thanks again ;)
P.S.
This time I didn't forget to put the 1024 version in 8bit... :)

Once again, Stefano, many, many thanks. I'll just add that the IJN markings do tend to emphasize the fact that the design for the Kawasaki Ki-61 - the engine cowling in particular - was derived from that of the He 100.

BTW, I found another Wings Palette page worth mentioning with regard to Russian He 100s:

http://wp.scn.ru/en/ww15/f/430/1/0

The number 90 does appear to have been applied to an otherwise unmarked and uncamouflaged example that formed part of a wartime TsAGI display that included several other Axis and Allied aircraft. I have a few photos of that display; unfortunately, the number is not visible in the photos in my own archives, and I'm not finding the photo online.
