If i launch the game without connection i get "update error" message and the only thing I can do is close the launcher:


But when I launch with connection I have nice and good indication that I can launch the game without connection:


Is there any way to configure the game for use without connection?

The Launcher.exe checks if there are any updates, so it needs an internet connection to do so. Simply start the game with IL-2.exe (with the usual double-click), and you can play offline withouth the goodies on your second pic.

PS. Il-2.exe is located in [game]\bin\game\IL-2.exe. Make a shortcut to if it you don't have it yet. The game is best not placed under Windows (but can be anywhere, e.g. C:\games\BoX\...) and is best run with administrator privileges. Good luck and welcome on board!

Thank you very much, it works  . I didn't even think there might be another "exe"

I installed it on another partition, I don't use "C", for me it's just a system partition.

You're right, I involuntarily mixed up BoX with one of the associated applications such as vJoy or JoystickGremlin that may require administrator privileges if my memory doesn't deceive me this time.
