Good choice!

Please proceed to the VP-Modpack topic and download all 16 parts (you don't need the 4.12.2m Mega Patch). Once you have all 16 zips, unzip everything and drag contents on top of your IL-2.

Then download and install the VP-Modpack patch and you will have a pretty good Pacific Theater.

It is up to you from this point to install Skins, Campaigns, the JETWAR add-on or additional mods.

Welcome to 1946 and have fun!

Is there a all 16 parts at once download ??, this will take forever to download all 16 parts separately.

Did the VP Mod thing, but far too big for my HD, guess I'll go the "Do it yourself" route, any advice to get WWII Pacific, and Korea/Vietnam ?

Then go back to a clean 4.12.2 and install SAS ModAct 5.3 and then IL2 1956 - The Jet Era. If you succeed, you probably want to have a look to the Jet Era Patch 1.5

Modding this game takes time. Set learning mode on and be patient. Check (search) the boards before asking, answers to your questions are already there.

Have fun.

I recommend to buy and add a new HDD and install B.A.T. or VP modpack, instead of collecting single mods.
Solving dependent problems between mods and mods / maps and maps is not so easy work. It will bring a lot of time loss with tired feels.

And stock game (version 4.13.4m or 4.12.2m) has enough contents to enjoy pacific theater 10 days or 20 days.
