POV In CoDBlitz
« on: October 31, 2019, 02:35:02 PM »

Hello Again,

Is there a way to assign the HAT button on top of my joystick to give me the ability to do slow scans in internal and external views? As it is now the game only allows preset scans which move in it looks like about 45 degree jumps. There doesn't seem to be a way to do slow scans in smaller amounts as you can in Il-46. At least I have not found a way to do so. Thanks to all who respond.

Hi,
sorry I don't have time at the Moment but yes it is possible.
You can use a free Software like JoyToKey to let me say "map your HAT to the mouse"
I am using it since more than 1 year.

Best regards

Hi Kraut1,

Thanks for the reply and the helpful information. I've looked at the screenshots but without any written instructions I'm not sure I could successfully figure out what you were doing. I'd need a manual or some sort of written guidance on how to install this software and set it up to do what I want. Also, where do I go to look for it? I'm also not sure if I want the POV to be with my mouse. I'd really rather have it assigned to the HAT button on top of my joystick, which is how it works in Il-46. I'm kind of surprised that with all the POV options listed in the game's Control section there is no way to do this in game. Anyway, thanks again for the reply and if you have time to follow up with me I would greatly appreciate it.
