Mmmmmmmmmm. Another plane I'd never heard of. should be very interesting. There's a single mission soon to appear for the AGO C II.

Hi folks, it will be interesting to fly this 'little monster', which has engine of 80hp, three crew plus weaponry and using wing warping! Thanks to the author for this interesting piece of world aviation.

Greetings

+1

I'm very keen to see how this beauty flies  :P
This is obviously a one off and I can find very little info about the M 9.....it seems the K1 designation implied Kampfflugzeug but this was changed latterly to a  G classification.....Hmmm
Where are the pair of Parabellums mounted ?
Does the M9 have interrupter gear front AND rear ?  8)

Many thanks for your work Zflyer48 !

Cheers

I've just discovered the two gunners are situated in the front of the two fuselages...alarmingly close to the front prop  o_O

A pair of fuselages and wing warping.....what could possibly go wrong ?  :D

Cheers

You are right, Alfie. What could go wrong. Go wrong. Go wrong.
Lots of work left to do.
If someone can point me in the right direction for Java coding the rear rotary to work, it would be helpful.

Best Regards

OFFICIAL COMMUNIQUE :

Warning to all Allied combatants

A new Fokker menace has appeared on the Western Front
It is easily spotted from distance with it's twin boom fuselage arrangement
If a lone machine is sighted it can be successfully attacked FROM THE REAR

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES IS THIS AIRCRAFT TO BE ATTACKED FROM THE FRONT

The Hun has taken to flying these aircraft in packs recently

They appear to be heavily armed reconnaissance units

ONLY ATTACK THESE UNITS IF YOU HAVE NUMERICAL SUPERIORITY

There have been many casualties recently amongst our French Allies and now the new Fokker menace is starting to threaten British flyers

Good Luck

MESSAGE ENDS

Many thanks Zflyer48  ;)

Cheers

FOKKER M9  Beta V1

Original experimental aircraft found to be unstable do to tail movement caused by wing warping.

"What If" tail bracing had been strengthen to alleviate problem.
And, two Oberursel 9 cyl engines used instead of the Oberursel 7 cyl ones.

You would have the Zflyer48   Fokker M9
