I am enjoying flying a stock Luftwaffe campaign LFSouth in BAT3.7.2 with NgHUD.
I don't know if it is my ears but the Bf109G2 sounds okay in the cockpit but outside it is more like a low volume early jet. I didn't notice this in BAT3.7.1.
I tried a QMB flying the 109G2 and heard the same different sounds. I didn't notice this before, probably too busy being shot down but I am now on mission 60 and have just noticed this. Could the aircraft sounds folders have become mixed up or am I imagining it.

no sound was touched in 3.7.1 or 3.7.2 so yes, you must imagine things.
3.7.x is Victor sound mod V6 standard.

Thanks for the quick reply Vampire. I compared the 109G2 with my Ypack and stock 4134 and both give the Daimler Benz desynchronised sound. Vpmodpack is the same, desychronised. I am not sure what has changed between missions in mid career. I restarted the mission from new but same sound so I will have to finish with a jet noise for now. It only affects external player aircraft view. Internal cockpit sound and other aircraft sounds are okay.
I guess some key combinations effect involuntary changes. e.g. During my 62nd mission in the Luftwaffe Fighter South Career in Ypack122 my joystick and Nghud settings suddenly disabled. The only key I hit was the map to see where the icons were and they were off map. The icons reappeared shortly after in the right place but the settings stayed disabled.
Not a great probem but may help modders to be aware.

Can someone help  me with a question. I am installing BAT for the first time and awesome stuff by the way!!!  I have the Steam version of 1946 IL2 and when I start it up it states its at version 4.13. Do I still install the 4.12 super patch over this? Thats the only part I am unsure of at the moment.  Thank  you folks, and again awesome work.

1. in steam you have an option to "downgrade" to 4.12.  It has been discussed several times, you should be able to find it. iirc, something about "beta" options... (I do not have it on steam myself)

2. Move the whole game out of your steam folder path, somewhere to C:\ in a separate folder if you want to mod it. (you can do that with Il-2, no problem... old games)

3. There is a 4.13 to 4.12 "downgrade" patch available on SAS somewhere if for some reason you can't find the steam option. But this must only be used if the whole game is moved out of steam already.

4. use the proper sub Form for your questions, and make separate threads! Like in Tech Help, or Lounge.... nobody will find this here if they are looking for the same questions...

5. and most importantly: welcome :D
