Tested yet another campaign - RAF Fighter Generic ETO (1939-1945).

All sub-campaigns prior to France (leaning forward 1941) have wrong dates. They start in 1942 instead of 1939/1940.

I stayed within aircraft limits as DGen gave for friendly planes other than my own flight. I mean I only picked planes I know DGen would assign to friendly flights other than mine. Was flying stock Spitfire F Mk Vc (1942) just as the game assigned. Just as the game assigned me. It corrupted the next mission.







The DGen .txts are attached here. I don't know if this is the log you need.

maps have date limitations, they are hardcoded into DGEN.exe.
Use your imagination instead, these mods are expanding what the original intention of the game was.

In a DGen campaign, simply do as DGen requests of you. Do not meddle around in aircraft or flight selections or you will throw the after-mission analysis tool off the rails.

Once selected on campaign start, do not touch squadron or plane selection anymore.

I think so, yes. This information is not stored and handled anywhere else after mission creation to my knowledge

Is there an extra segment in the works for Germany Fighter Center? Or is this a mistake?

It's a remnants, old data....
You could even call them up probably, but then you fly Channel over Finsgulf and such stuff. No idea if all the other files support this.

I just remembered, is there a list of changes done throughout the patches? I would like to know everything that was done since I don't remember all of them.

Ok, so I made a slight improvement to the Finland40 segment. I switched the Ki-27 for the D.XXI for Finland as well as changed some of the kills text. I only checked to see if the segment loads and it does, so not sure if it works.

Can anyone put here a short turtorial how to install DCG for B.A.T. ? I have vanilla instalation of Il2, and few days later I put working B.A.T. on it. Now I have "beep" issue, and I don't know what to do with this problem. I see that I'm not the only one, so I think that tutorial for DCG will be a good idea...

Hi, new guy here (I don't even know if this is the right place to post this), I just returned to il-2 1946 and decided to get BAT mod, good stuff. So, I started the 1939-1945 dynamic RAF campaign on the western front and started in 1940 Battle of England. Upon loading the second mission I exploded on spawning. My guess is I spawned in collision with another plane. Happens every time I try to refly. Does this mean my campaign is done? It's only the second mission, so I can just restart the campaign. But how do I know this is not gonna happen again?

About your problem:


- planes exploding at the start of a mission
Almost always a loudout (weapon selection) in the mission file that is not in the game. You can find the exact cause by looking in the log.lst file. You will see an entry like this: java.lang.RuntimeException: Weapon set '1xmk13' not registered in air.A_20C
