Unfortunately I am not able to test it right now< but anyway its a very big progress!

I am wondering if its just stock campaigns or we have some additional mod planes included?

I just patched up to 3.6 (from 3.3) and added the DGEN patch. I'll try to reproduce but will take a couple of days as I'm not home right now.

In the meantime, what mods are you using?

Stefano needs to delete all his dgen entries in conf.ini (the conf.ini that is in main directory and only this one, incase he made copies somewhere else in his game), then play again.
 
Then, and only then and only if it's needed, put again, one at a time, needed entries to suit his own preferences.

Having two wardefeat lines with different values must not help, for instance.


Vampire, thanks a lot for this work. I had quite given up on playing dgenwith BAT until now.

Now, I just keep hoping that someone has the ability to delete the second overlapping US roundel on stock P-51s, since dgen uses those models. It's an old DBW bug, IIRC, or slightly more recent (but not much) that monty never had time (or will) to fix.

Other than this It's great to fly over Berlin in my 262 chasing Amis, the map is glorious with slibenli's extender :)

Just had this :

the class air.FW_190D9late doesn't exist in your il2 game installation.

the air.PA18 will be used instead.

German campaign "boelcke defense of the reich 43-45", germany 45 subcampaign (antepenultimate subcampaign).

Keep in mind that most of the DGEN campaign files are from 2008/2009 so mod planes didn't exist then.  The good news is they can be added pretty easily now that we have a DGEN base that works with BAT.

We only took what was there in terms of campaigns, as stated above, and tried to remove all incompatible entries as a starting point.
There were a lot of those and some might still have slipped, but they will only show their head when many people play many campaigns...
Some modified planes are actually in there, the Reichsverteidigungs campaigns were available in a modded version.
This is open source basically, anyone is invited to build on this if they want to.

oopsie, one slipped through. I'll look at it, thanks for the heads up.

It's easy to circumvent though, just assign any available Fw-190D9 type to that flight in the mission briefing screen (bottom selection pull down menus)

patch 1.0 posted for the Fw190D9late bug.
The not present plane has been removed and replaced.

just replace the files.

In practice after having done all the possible and imaginable steps, that is, with the deletion of the DG entries from the conf.ini, well the problem was not affected in any way, so much so that it was sending me out of my mind, I put together your advice my fiddling and nothing was wrong with it ... but then by pure chance I discovered something ... I had a copy of the hidden Conf.ini file and you know how I noticed it? From mistakes! is wrong, by mistake I deleted the conf.ini I had forgotten this and in the excitement of solving the problem I launched IL2, it all started smoothly, except then once back to the desktop to try to solve the DGen problem, I go for open the conf.ini and can't find it? I go to the trash and there is it .... But then how could I start and work IL2? Hmmmm so I made sure I had an old copy of the conf.ini hidden in the root folder of IL2Sturmovik, eliminating this solved problem. Now everything is back OK :). THANKS AGAIN BOYS OF HELP AND PATIENCE ;)

...but your going to need to ignore the Asura DGEN info. *


* Asura's DGEN project was a noble idea but it never played nice with CUP/BAT.   Too many data file mismatches.
