HMS Glorious

I've been looking out for decent drawings of HMS Glorious for a while, so as to be able to model one of the sisters of HMS Furious. The other sister ship was HMS Courageous. The two sisters differed most obviously by having a proper bridge structure. Glorious had the longest flight deck of the three, the deck having been extended in the late 30's. The bulk of the modelling done for Furious can be re-used, with a minor adjustment to the deck. Glorious has a short but eventful career in WWII, useful for Norway scenarios. These drawings are by Xavier Tracol and appeared in a French publication "LOS!" which I have recently discovered.

A lot of cutting and carving to do, but the Furious model seems to fit to the new drawings reasonably well. The large W struts supporting the flight deck at the stern were added when the deck was extended and made Glorious easily distinguished from Courageous. As on the Furious the flight deck features a ramped section opposite the bridge.

Rough texture mapping. -- I'll put this to one side now while I work towards completing the Hipper project.
Both useful players for the Norway maps I hope.
