My dumbass, inner child drew the plans for this 5 years ago and now, welp, it's a reality (to some extent)...



BOOM BOOM BOOOM!


Flippin' 37mm kanonz!!


Highly detailed...


... With a few lazy faces not detached to fix smoothing issues...

Known Bugs:
- Cockpit cock'd up. Not sure what the hell happened with the K14 but I can't be bothered to fix it. Use it as is or don't use the mod. :))
(PS Fixes appreciated)


Installation/Entries:

Installation: Drag the 'Ghost129er-Pu_52D2' folder into your #UP# folder or whatever your MOD folder is called on you install. This was designed for UltraPack 3.2, the PaintSchemes folder goes into your IL-2 install directory already named so you don't need to struggle to find the Skin folder name. Make sure you copy paste the air.ini and etc codes from here and don't add your own to prevent any skin folder name typos!

Future of the mod:
- Maybe add LoD (I mean, it's 2019. If you can't run this it's not my fault).
- Add fins on the sides of b00mst1ckz and add a shell ejection port (literally have a shell eject).
- Animate b00mst1ckz to move when fired and go back into position like a Barrett .50 Cal.

Verry cool looking fighter mod   ]cheers[ Sure packs a punch!

The P-51 does look good using those German gun pods, but you could have made it into an "Allied" fighter.
It´s not just the "bad-guys" who get all the fun at using the big gun pods.

It might even look good using a Mexican Air Force skin. We could call it "El Diablo"  :D
Not many people know that Mexico flew Allied fighters against Germany back in the WW2 - 201st Fighter Squadron "The Aztec Eagles"

Thanks Max, glad you like it. :))

Good news is - it's totally compatible with P-51 skins and there's no broken UV maps or anything!

Only downside is though if you want to re-texture the b00mst1cks (37mm cannons) you'd have to do that separately as I coulnd't and can't fit anymore stuff onto the already complicated UV map of the mustang without overlapping...

If you got a skin, slap it on and send us a screenshot - would love to see it. 8)
