I changed to cnfig values as the post said. Once I have done that, where do I find it after the mission failed to load? Mission loading failed: null is the message I get when trying to load a quick mission. The offending file or folder is the P 47 D 27 with my custom skins. Only after I loaded them did this happen, My FW 190 A 8 with all my old custom skins caused no issues, I was importing old saved skins to my new install on my new PC, The game worked before I imported the P 47 D 27 folder, patched up to Angels high, taking it little by little

The log file is right in your game's root folder.

I did look there, is it a note pad type file , does it say "Log" or anything like that?

It says what you set it to in conf.ini, as written in the post you said you've read.
Per default we call it "log.lst".

Ace of Spades, one advice I'd like to give:

Before you post the next "where can I find file X" thread, ask yourself: could it be the game root folder?

Your right, I did look there just didn't look hard enough, In regards to the main issue of the "Mission loading failed: null" it went away after I patched up to Pathfinder. In the future if I need to post a log file , Paste bin is the app that reads it correct?

pastebin.com doesn't read logs, but it's where you can post logs, especially those exceeding the forum's character limit.
