So a bit of a trouble here, I was playing Il2 1946, and every sortie I wanna skip time or use the 8x but problem is the game gets really laggy when I used both of those things.

Also here's my specs for clarification
CPU : i7-4790 
GPU : Asus STRIX GTX-960 2GD5 OC Edition
MB : Asus Z97-A
RAM : 16 Gigs
OS : Windows 10

Wait it didn't work... strange tbh

I was using full settings ( With 1932x1086 basically 1366x768 but with DSR ) , but nope it didn't work... I updated IL2 to 3.6.1 but nope... still no hope at all.

Btw about DirectX mode though, I was crashing all of the sudden when I put the game to DirectX mode

Which version did you have prior to your 3.6.1 update?

1932x1086 basically 1366x768 but with DSR

DSR with a GTX 960?
That explains it.
GPU is too weak to handle the game at 8x.
This will happen is stock game too.
