F-14 QMB JTW NavyTrials Wings SOLVED
« on: April 17, 2019, 03:29:31 PM »

Hello all,

first of all, great new Update!

My problem:
I somehow can't change the wings position for the F-14 (also on AUTO the wings don't change their position) when I try to start from an aircraft carrier in QMB Map JTW NavyTrials. So taking of isn't possible for me as the plane flips over when I activate the catapult. On other maps where you start on land the wings work fine and extend/retract as it is supposed to be. Did I forgot something when starting from the carrier?

Thank you in advance for your help!

Unfold wings?
Instead of having the wings in auto try pressing the wing fold button from the control menu.

I'm talking about the wing sweep (not wing fold if you mean that). If I use the manual controls, I get the wing sweep notification (extend/retract/keep/bomb/Auto) on the screen, but the wings don't change their position. Like I said on land based maps all works fine, only in NavyTrials it doesn't.

If you are TAKING OFF from a carrier - you still MUST 'unfold wings" (with whatever key binding you have for that) FIRST !
- the GAME looks at it like the folded wings of any other naval aircraft in half (discovered the hard way thru trial and much error :P)

cheers,
