INTERNAL ERROR: Effect param file '3DO/Effects/Aircraft/Pullingvapor.eff' NOT loaded
java.lang.RuntimeException: INTERNAL ERROR: Effect param file '3DO/Effects/Aircraft/Pullingvapor.eff' NOT loaded

this is a missing effect

INTERNAL ERROR: Str2FloatClamp() - Clamped 55 -> 32 (delta = -23) to Range 0..32
INTERNAL ERROR: Str2FloatClamp() - Clamped 0.15 -> 0.1 (delta = -0.05) to Range 0..0.1

I once ran this mod on version 4.12.2(MA5.30) and ran into about the same thing... I decided to do this by installing the F-16 and F-18 mods (in my latest version), combining mods means getting a bunch of different errors, but then it worked and the plane flew(also, some weapons may conflict with other files and they will need to be disabled, there was a post about it somewhere here) and in general, we can conclude that the F-14 is somehow connected with the F-16 or F-18.... Because without them, he refuses to launch and shoot, and the most interesting thing is that no one says anything about it... ]dontknow[

Only "Can't open file '3DO/Effects/Aircraft/Pullingvapor.eff"is the important error to be dealt with. The float camp etc is a non critical error that show in many modded install

I am unable to install this mod. I installed all the requirements and edited the .ini, but even so the game crashes when it reaches 20% loading, I'm new to the game and when it comes to installing the mods, I honestly don't know where I'm going wrong

Hi and welcome !

- Indicate the version of your game!

- Read how to get the log here, and the instant log here (Except for BAT which contains InstantLog).

- When you want to post only the relevant parts from the log
read here how to do this. (code option!)

- If you want to post all lines of the logfile we suggest to use https://pastebin.com/
to paste your log and then paste the link here which you got from them.
Read and see here how to do this.

Note: It is preferable to provide the LOG in its entirety!

Actually recently got back to it, I'm currently trying to display contacts on the TID. Having some trouble getting the radar to scan properly. Plan is to have it use actual radar return simulation and then use it to build/update track files.

EDIT
It works, somehow:

It's not very reliable however, if you are turning too fast or the target is moving too fast, it will "escape" its track file and clutter the screen with outdated contacts. Mainly because now it's scanning +-65° in 4 bars.
Correct modes would be:
65°, 8 bars - 13 second refresh rate
40°, 2 bars - 2 second refresh rate
20°, 4 bars - 2 second refresh rate
10°, 1 bar - 0.25 second refresh rate
the faster the refresh rate, the less possibility for error
(in reality there's also the option of RIO wizardry of manually setting those instead of using pre-sets)

Hello Cats
Are you still working on the F-14 cockpit? If so, what is the progress of work on it?
Regards
