New map SWIEurope
« on: November 30, 2018, 11:52:00 AM »

This is a quite small 76*76 Km map, but i embedded it into a bigger one to avoid that map border effect. Exept Red Island all town names are just tactical names.

Landscape is middle european with minor mountains and a few rivers.

The area is quite densely populated with a lot of middle sized towns like this

... and much more littel villages with a lot of cows, horses and pigs.

There are also some ports and towns with ship factorys (SF) aka shipyards

... and also two aircraft factorys (ACF) with little airports for testing purposes

The airport points

i imported from standard maps, so i hope they work. Outside the maps boarders there are two airports with extra long runways for the super heavys.
There are also other industriell areas like vehicle factorys (VF) and others:

The rail and road net is quite dense, even trains can run only on the marked red doted lines. There are about 2000 km rails and roads and more than 10000 tree lines to come along with them.

Cities created with CityBuilder.
Map populated with ObjectSet.
Roads & rails layed with RoadBuilder.
Field textures originaly by compans, i changed them a little bit.
Mountain textures by ag.

Installation:
Throw the "maps" folder with in the downloaded SWIEurope folder into to your "MAPMODS" folder.
Add to the all.ini: SWIEurope SWIEurope/load.ini

The map saves under BAT#WAW and VPmedia. Modact 5.3 (Don't know about 6.1) and other installations may need the Static Animal Mod, so i included this into the download. In BAT#WAW and VPmedia this is included into the Farm Live Stock section of the static.ini, which possibly is also known in other installations. So i added the whole section included the entrys of the Static Animal Mod to the download and not only the additional cows, horses and pigs. Possibly you can exchange the whole section.

If the map doesn't save for you, please use the Static.ini.Checker.

You may download the map here (34,5 MB):

Great work mate. Wondering if it is possible to get a copy of your road builder program please? I have the city builder and autopop programs.

Cheers

Looking at the screenshots... Roads look so good.
Can't wait to test.

Thank you for your work, Nowekat.
