you´re welcome!

due to the large number of available aircraft, not all (and in fact quite many of them) have FMs that may be off more or less..
IIRC the Avenger (and the B6N) were only introduced to have period correct torpedo bombers flown by AI so correct FMs were not really necessary;
their main purpose was to fly straight and level mostly and serve as targets for the hungry human fighter pilots...
to create a really correct FM would be asking too much I think, as long as stall speeds, top speeds and roll rate are close to real values, that should be ok;
not many people will fly the Avenger I guess and AFAIK, there are only a handful of campaigns that employ it, but one of the main challenges will always be landing it on a CVE and thats where the new FM is a tremendous improvement; you can really "fly" the Avenger onto the deck now, compared to the old FM where you were just wobbling towards it and hope to "crash softly" at the right spot of the deck...

as said, if you also have an FM on offer, feel free to post it; we could really use FMs for the whole bunch of subtypes as they had different engines and could carry more and more payload as their age matured...

also, if you are into FM tuning (something I really would love to learn), there is the Helldivers that have aweful FMs (way to elastic - the Helldivers in game just want to fly/float with roll rates that would make a Hellcat blush, while the real Beasts were just that- heavy beasts that according to one of its pilots "just wanted to kill us whenever we landed on our carrier") IMHO, or the Barracuda, that also has ridiculous handling qualities compared to its real live counterpart...

My vision of how virtual aircraft models should fly I post on my page on the Aviaskins forum.
The author of this fashion TBM just from there and took the corrected FM.
When I finish fm TB-3, then I finish all fm for the TBM-TBF line. Let the author of the fashion more often look at the forum airfare.
But I would very much like to see fm for Il-2 written by aerodynamic professionals. I have a little different education.

Thats a good wish, but I guess that wish will never come true...not in a sim with that scope...
but I guess it would be great to share your work here as well; I do know basic russian and google translate is a good help, but I do not visit aviaskins much...I got me the updated Yak-9P stuff yesterday but still need to see how to get it up and running in my WAW module - the Avenger has a higher priority right now...

so if you want, contact me via PM and we can also discuss the Avenger FM,... nowadays, FM discussions are the only discussions that really interest me as a good FM is the heart of every plane, the better it is, the more I like to fly it....

Thanks for the answer!
If you would like to discuss fm virtual aircraft and my work in this area, please visit my aviaskins forum page.
There are many of my achievements in improving aircraft in the IL-2.
All good!
Epilogue.

Якщо ви бажаєте обговорювати фм віртуальних літаків та мої роботи в цьому напрямку, то будь-ласка заходьте на мою сторінку

Всього доброго!

Okay Friends,

I gave Credit to Vasya and Aviaskins as soon as I implemented his FM. You can read in the Read Me accompanied with this Mod,
in the first Post under Credits. See the date of the post back then.
I do give Credit where due, that's least I could do for respecting others hard work.

I agreed to the DWTFYWWI License, even under my own regularia to Credit properly.

Vasyas FM is cool, and I can't contribute to such Discussions, as I don't have a clue what you're talking about.

Honestly don't have a clue what got tensions up, I'm free to FM discussions, even here, but keep it at a normal Level.
Don't flame each other and all is cool. I see things settled, so knock on wood.

Best wishes
Tobias

Don't worry too much - I'm in no way offended.
All in all - I am very pleased and glad that you have used my fm vision for this naval bomber.
My conversation with Mr. Griffon_301 is just a smile, like a funny story that lifted my spirits. Apparently he did not know that I was the author of the editing on the FM of the TBM aircraft.
Thanks again to this gentleman for talking!
My authorship corrected fm not necessarily indicate, so optional. In terms of views, I am a socialist, something close to Barack Obama. Therefore, in relation to my work in the field of FM correction for playing IL-2, I do not ask for the application of intellectual property rights. If someone liked my work, then everyone can have the free right to use any mod at will.
If you would like to indicate in my credits my authorship of edits in FM, then I do not dispute. There I saw another person's name.
My name:

Thank you for your reply!

Vasya Grab

Just a quick appeal...

Per the first posting, this mod needs "RAF Bomber Command v1.1", but the original link for that mod appears to be dead. The author, Slipper, hasn't posted for two years. Any alternate way to get that mod, so we can try out the Tarpon/Avenger II?

Cheers

OKay, can you do a Test, the prob is these Medium Capacities I'm not sure which is which.
You should run Barracuda, US DreamK Loadouts and Typhoon & Tempest (+Seafury) family upgrade (Beta) V2c update!.
https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,26690.0.html
I bet my ass that was the one with the better looking MC, if I remember right my early tests used BC 1.1.

Still I would ask you to PM Gerax for Help on Bombercommand, it's an old important Mod, unless
we don't have better British consolidated Arms. Its better to get an active Link.

In not so far future this dependencies are past. We'll get sth. better. My crystal Ball gave me hint to tell
you all Patience

I can't help with this mod as its outdated, I don't have it anymore.
Any new versions (v1.2 or higher) are available maybe on the "other place".

Hello Gents, This is BC v 1.1 mod which I use in my install, unfortunately I can't share the original file because my external disk has crashed and I lost 98% of everything I had related to Sturmovik.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1_p031JDSdBqctSkMLW4WtIMbpUBnkJ7z/view?usp=sharing
I hope it will help,
readme inside file _00_RAF Bomber Command Mod V1.0

Stay safe!

Best regards,
Piotrek

Thanks for helping us out, added to Original BomberCommand thread this and an alternative link.
Somebody can update the outdated Link then.

Best wishes
