... found traces of underwing stores on Mk.I Trops in India/CBI.

Please be aware that those early 44 gals auxiliary tanks were not droppable (fixed) and were normally used for ferry flights. Droppable tanks had a capacity of 45 gals and were introduced later.

Hello Tobias, Thank you for the new pack of Hurricanes 8), I tried to run them but they don't all work, it looks like I'm missing some textures and mat files, I used planes from these files to test:
 + Hurricane MkI Trop , + Hurricane MkII Trop and + HurricaneMkIIbModVVS
The ones from the second and third package work perfectly, the ones from the first one do not appear in the QMB aircraft selection window.

I would be grateful for your help in solving this problem.

P.s  I am very happy to see especially the tropical version of Mk.IV which was used by the Yugoslavs pilots among others,
Please don't take this as a criticism, but looking at this package one can say that it's almost complete, only Hurricane PR.Mk.I or PR.Mk.II is missing, and preferably in an armed version if it was :P .

Fixed, Beta 1.1 with Mr GB3 missing, the old Phantom II Fix applied there as well.

The Tanks can be fixed the way you mean if you leave droptank button at rest.
Joke, but really, it can be done, dunno, but I'm out at such specific coding.

Can you give specs about the Gameversion you run? That would be fine.

PR Hurries I have no clue. My Skills are limited, I've lost access to one of my larger HDs, where all the Mod, IL-2 related stuff is stored.
I work with limitations. I'll keep it on my list and as soon as I have access again, I can nip a lokie lokie into it going or not.

atm. I have to rest when this Fix is up, I suffer from decreasing eyesight, optical neuritis, post eye surgical stuff that comes and goes.

Hope you enjoy them and they are for now working.
Will clean up the code later when I'm back on the Track

Hi Tobias,

I'm running 4.12.2m modact 5.3 with VP mod and lots of individual mods. I initially had problems with all the MkI trop series not showing up in QMB, but substituted the MkII pilot textures per Phantom II's suggestion, and all work great now. Hope your medical issues are relieved quickly...

Yeah, all good Herb, Thanks for the heads up. I'm relieved for the next 4 weeks. Hehe

I'll commence further testing of all of them.
Remember we have the new VVS layouts, and some still WIP. As soon as I'm done
they'll ship out and WIP, old Request Threads can be closed.
But as said, it's consolidation, a bunch of work.

I made 2 new Self Stationary Planes, these should be of use for some.
The Mk.IIB/Trop and ugly chin Filter Mk.IIB/Mod


For Vajenga Winter and very dusty Maps,
Competition can start, which Filter is uglier, Hehe

Will be uploaded, so check back later...
Can make the rest as I found out how to just recently.

Beta version 1.2 with a major Overhaul at the Mk.II tropical Hurries.
Here we have Slot changes, 3D-Fixes including Greybeards old Requested Barrel Alternatives
for the Mk.IIC, the 3D was built by Barnesey. Thanks to both for these.
Check Post #1 for all Infos, the new Update...

Installation Notes, delete old + Hurricane MkII Trop Folder and replace all lines from
this with new shipped in the reworked Folder. Don't mix this up, don't copy paste over.
Make a clean install for it, too many changes at Plane folders naming, inis and more...
