What kind of armament had this version anyway? Were there a major production ammount of this one, or just a minor/marginal run? I know that it existed, but I never find a serious photos or articles about it.

The splutter is historical all english early merlins could not take negative G `s It is the way it was. To dive you have to roll the plane

You will experience engine cut-off under high Gs in a few other older Planes too: first Hurries, Fiat G.50, CR.32, CR.42, Gladiator, I-16,... etc. Please don't blame yourself asking for a Mod that prevents it, just switch to Arcade Mode, so the Mod you're asking is already there. Even the early Bf 109 Bernd, Claus, Domina were affected. Fuel-injection got installed in Augsburg with Eduard, ahem sorry, Emil series, precisely the E-1 had it first, which made dives under high Gs possible, until your eyes puke out, O-Ton Mr. Galland.



This drawing shows what Spitfire pilots did, taking care of holding positive Gs, when engaging a diving German, whose engine could withstand high negative Gs, stay with the positive Gs. You loose some distance, but it helps. Now your legal-guardian and you may know what to do. Refine your tactics and live with it, crappy weapons and these carburetors in early planes.
