Hello guys, sorry to say even after all these years I can still fuck up a map install.

I tried as <Gunny> said, thank you, added the 3do straight from the download into the STD folder, fired up the game, saved a mission on the map, all good.

Okay, so what did I do wrong?


Well, I do not use the 3do folder usually in the STD but set up a objects folder for each map in the SAS folder, on this occasion, not sure why, I missed that 3do folder but added all the object folders in to my specially named folder, of course it would not work.

It is tough being a senile old fart.

Let me have a rest for a while, winter/autumn version is not yet on a schedule.
I prefer to return to map of Gates of Caucasus which is WIP.

Like I said before I had that 3do folder inside the MapMods or _Tex folder can't recall now..
Set everything as per the direction and they would not save...
Searched here for days and found a post that said put the 3do inside the STD folder then everything started working..
Why ? Beats me but it works...
