While I think it's great that Sturmovik lives , and moves on , and it's great they are looking at NWE in 1944.
No Typhoons plus No Mosquitos = for me , no interest.

Interesting. No single word about the promised SDK though.

Nope. Even worse IMO that what has been announced is not a new battle, just a new set of planes for a dogfight server for fighter jockeys of the top gun type.

Sounds Good, although I thought the next in the series was going to be PTO based?

From yesterdays QA TS3 with Jason from 777, maybe interesting bits for model makers, and some SDK news

talk regarding models and SDK
In a nutshell: Nothing.
If you have a professional company and want to contribute (and there's no mentioning of payment for that even), then you are allowed to ask.
And even then, you're expected to focus on ground objects.

Modding like we used to know from the IL-2 community: Never ever.

That at least is what I understood.

New Theatres, ROF revive, OK.
Tank Crew, sounds to me like a widespread
marketing strategy. A market (Tank Simulation), where 1C themselves failed
with past titles.
Just name it, can ruin the series creditabillity.
Whats next, Subs aka Silenthunter IL-2, too lame and too obvious they need
more customers apart from the few they have.

What's so special on a Spit IX, look at the roster of 2nd TAC air Force and
tell me what was a fresh Spit, guess not the IX.
Don't tell me it's the most donged Spit in a Pilots panty.

They should have made a subsequent titles for some here too obsololete marks.
Nice they ran Eastern Front, call it Italy 44, throew in A-8, IX, Thugs and Ponys.
Bodenplatte is 2nd TAC AF and a showcase of newer stuff.
With content from Italy 44 it would make sense as you already have a base to build up.

This release is very hectic, compared to M,S,K and the roster relevance following,
sounds like a plan, was a plan. This release is half planned.
They miss 1 up to a 2nd subsequent titles.
They want all and in less time, try it, hope it works.
Bodenplatte is a mix of old and new stuff, enough for both side lovers?
Smaller logical steps.

Some Dev (not acting) is a complete Tiffi hater, puts in Tempest when Typhoons where the stalemate.
It's like you fav about SVT-40 and fail to implement a Mosin Nagant in a Russian shooter.
Now we can talk about the most donged in a panty according to numbers and relevance built.
You can loose your citizenship in that case, but a Tiffie is unknown there.

I'm 32 bit Vista, any question? Permitted to play my 60€ hardcopy any longer!!!

Muhahaha

I think that this is indeed the core issue and I can't even blame them for it.
The combat flight sim genre is the perfect spot to get engaged as a company if you have to get rid of some money.
As much as the ROF success proved that the business model might be working, as much BoX now shows it's limits.
DCS is on a similar track pennywise, they're just spread the risks wider across several contributors involved.

The fact that 777 now announced BoP and throws it in the Early Access sales even before BoK is out of that stage makes me think that they plain simply need money to survive.
(...and this means that if you preorder BoP, you might buy something you never get...)

Best regards - Mike

That. If N number of sold copies can finance your team for M months, then (A) you have to drop a project which would last 2xM months, or (B) have to be very confident that you can sell 2xN copies. Given this small market, they went with option (A) and announced BoBo which is certainly doable within M months as it doesn't require several new techs to develop. They simply drop in some single-seaters and the jet engine, which is nothing compared to what they would have to implement if they had gone for naval warfare with carriers and several multi-crew aircraft.

I said this in a very sharp tone, believe you me I had to block a great deal of people PM me "fanmails" I simply cannot see any reason for not adding a ME 410 and a Mossie since they only have two crews . Well I see the reason , they put WT hotrods to get sales. And they avoid everything that means more work on this pack
