VDB59, Make sure you back up your original installation folder of IL2 4.12.2 in case it explodes.

Yes i made a copy before thankfully because the installation did not work

I  install (or try) i follow all the instruction several times but it failed:i have no QMB no map in FMB I install it into a copy in a game were i had mod maybie thats why the installation failed
Can someone help me? im actually install a clean versio

According to VP's instructions you need a clean ( un-modded ) 4.12 install patched to 4.12.2 - start it from the "selector"
I have the COG online download..not the CD..right now the version on COG is 4.13 and I haven't tried it, but from what I read here it works with the VP modpack as well..so
just a clean original install..you can move your mission files over to the new install and they will still open - if the VP Modpack is installed they will still work but with new objects, maps etc.
I have a Normandy Mission  I created in the un-modded version.
I opened it up in the VP-Modpack - everything was there, but with a lot of new ships and an entirely new map showing South England where the
"British Base" island used to be.
Keep trying.

Open your conf.ini and check this section:

Not very  helpful, I'm afraid, but apparently the QMB just doesn't work with VP mod pack. I posted somewhere (M4T?) and was told it was a known issue with the current release. Shortly afterwards the map selection stopped working so I went back to 4.12, after copying across some of the extra a/c.

QMB needs the patches to be installed.
