Well, I am by no means a map builder, have no tools and no real knowledge....
So all I did was look at the load.ini and swapped some graphics in from winter maps until it looked plausible.

This map works in BAT, other modpacks might work too, I only have BAT to test it. Drop the folder "MAPMODS_Italy_WW1_W" into #DOF2  (#WAW2, #JTW2, #TGA2... if you feel like using it there)

Here you find a version with Piave river corrected in its course, all versions of the map report the wrong Piave, I hope you can integrate it into the very useful winter version of the map.

nice improvement about that river!
This map has a few more small inconsistencies I thing and way too few airfields.

But I think you should carry this improvement directly to SAS Monty and the BAT team.
As a campaign creator I am hesitant to work in a special version of the map that's not part of the general pack.

Hey Gio, I was wondering.

Isn't the Isonzo also wrong in that original map?
It's either that or it runs a new bed more to the west today compared to 100 years ago?

Btw, your update works fine in conjunction with the winter map. just drop both mods into DOF2 and it's all there.

Yes, it is wrong, not in position but in shape, but it is acceptable, unlike Piave .
Having just corrected the course I did not create problems or conflicts, thankfully.

actually, the more I study google maps the more the wrong Isonzo pisses me off since it places Mon San Michele, an absolutely high profile battlefield on the wrong side of the river.

Which means all the campaigns I made in that region essentially ignore this landmark because my focus was on the river.
You can't have it all I guess...
