No go on saving .mis
Does anyone know where these come from?

Missing objects in your static.ini:

buildings.House$FurnitureNGNBPalmAg1
buildings.House$FurnitureNGNBPalmAs1 (etc)

Hello Fly

Do you have the maps New Britain New Guinea (NGNB) by DT from 4.13, - The objects you are missing are from this map.
Check in your main root folder if you have these files
fb_maps21.SFS,
fb_3do26.SFS,
fb_3do27.SFS,

If you do not have these then just copy them from 4.13 into your main root folder, and don't forget to add the corresponding entries to the .rc file.
Also, copy the allini entries for the 4 NBNG maps  so you will have these maps also.

Hope this helps

For the life of me, I have not been able to locate my sources...as of yet...however...as I recollect the Japanese advanced north to the river, where the Dutch finally could make a stand.  The Japanese forced the river, north, and occupied the airfield.  Nevertheless, like I said, don't change anything.  Here we are:  "Last Stand at Samarinda":  7 February 1942
Samarinda, Borneo:  The Japanese conquest of Borneo continues
unabated.  The major oil center of Balikpapan, on the southeast
coast, was occupied without a fight, the Dutch forces retreating
north to Samarinda.  After the capture of Balikpapan City, the
Japanese advanced north, in two columns, "mopping up the remaining
Dutch troops in the vicinity of Samarinda".

Again cheers and thanx so very much for this map

Re: Gubi's information about Samarinda Airfield - location of airfield and part of town now moved to north of the Mahakam River.
I thought it prudent to make this change asap as it may affect mission/campaign building - same download link in Post#1

hi Squashman!  I just posted some screenshots for your Ceylon map in the WIP forum.
This map looks nice, especially Surabaya, but unfortunately, I think the mapped area must be a little too big for my computer to function - the screen just freezes and takes a long time to move the mouse.  I checked the files and the only thing I can see is that the Map_F should be downsized to be the same as Map_H / T; and maybe include an ed_m02 map.  The KevinP map making tutorial should have answers to everything, including how to make roads/railroads.

The Bump files might also be a problem for me so I'll try to load it without the Bump files to see if that helps any.  On my update to BurmaLower, I noticed the Bumps had an affect and lowered my frame rate.

Will you also make the map of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands? and maybe include the northern part of Sumatra?

While amazing Ceylon map installed, run and saving missions like a charm,
trial to run the Easatern Java Borneo map  caused not only CTD,
but directly  return to  the Il2 to Selector in my Il-2 4.101 SAS modact 3.06 install.
Never met such weird behaviour before.
What might be remedy ?

Not sure why you have loading issues with more than 2 spaces?? Perhaps a guru can explain?

You are right, by downsizing both these files dividing both x and size by four, (i.e. downsizing the file size 16 times !) the map runs in FMB now, even if still not smoothly on moving mouse in 3D . Missions cannot yet be saved, but this may be resolved using static ini checker.
Here is a screenshot:

Hi Mick, Uzin, Czeck

Massive appologies for your difficulties - Looks like I need to work on those file sizes. I guesse that's what feedback is for - thanks again and standby for some smaller files.

Well done Squash.  Without any back and forth between us you located the Samarinda airfield almost exactly where I located it on my Rising Sun map.

cheers
