After some trial and error,  I've managed to produce a camo skin for the hornet.
Still work in progress as I'm learning on the job  :)

Ground collision and visual damage fix
« Reply #112 on: November 17, 2022, 11:55:56 PM »

Hello all after long break!

I got involved in testing of BAT v4.2.2 and fixed some bugs in the process. Now I'm trying to post these fixes separately so that other than BAT users can also enjoy them. For these very nice Hornets I fixed these issues:
- Wings and engines now collide with ground properly after moving _Clip hooks to better positions.
- Odd parts no longer appear after parts detach because I've removed buggy _CAP meshes from other plane and moved still useful ones to better positions. Hopefully some 3D artist can create proper _CAP meshes some day and someone could create better damage skins.

You can get these fixes from https://www.mediafire.com/file/1z2imcpxuus1g04/DH.103_Hornets_fix.7z/file
For installation unpack my 3DO/Plane folders into your mod folder letting them overwrite old files. Please remember to back up your old files first if you have edited something like changed pilots so that you can apply those changes again. This fix is already included in BAT v4.2.2, but I hope it's useful addition for UltraPack and others.

Thanks a lot Birdman, this will definitely make it into the next Ultrapack Hotfix!
