I downloaded IL2 from Steam, which is updated to 4.12.2m, so the first time I tried to install, I did not apply the super patch. After I installed BAT and attempted to start the game, I got a splash screen for a half a second which I swore said CUP on it, then it quits to the selector and doesn't spit me out a log file. Odd, I thought, so I deleted everything, reinstalled IL2, then applied the patch before BAT, and I still have the same issue as before; quit to selector and no log file.

Any idea what I did wrong?
