Reload Refill Repair
« on: January 26, 2017, 10:59:41 AM »

Dear Benito, dear all,
when I use PAL Visual mod in order to get RRR available, I loose the indications of speed, altitude, heading and trims in the lower left corner of my screen. Could it be possible to just get the RRR independently from PAL Visual mod? I also have noticed that the trim indications don't appear in every cockpit.
Best regards.

Cycle "Toggle Speed Bar" default "Control S" to get your indications back as one of the cycles is blank and you are on the blank, been there done it.

@ tartenmuche - There was less than a week between your first and second comments on this thread.  A lack of an immediate answer might mean several things:  People may be testing to see what you mean, or working all week, or not all using that feature in that way.

In the case VisualMOD-9 its not widely grocked - We could do with some tutorials and posts about how people employ all the fantasic features.  Personally I like the cameras, but haven't a clue about the other stuff.

Chill out man!  8)  We always get around to it...

Well, I did not use this mod before because I had the same problem of no speedbar.  I re-enabled it after reading about the rearm, reload feature.  It is pretty nice and the floating views seem to give it a real flying feel but try as I might, i still cannot get a speedbar beyond the gauges view.  The tga files for the HUD speedbar are present in the folder in #WAW2.  I have spent several hours reviewing  this documentation, http://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,42495.0.html but this mode is complex, has been updated with each upgrade of IL2 and might have a conflict with a classfile in BAT.
I have done some basic Config file edits as posted in the threads but still no lower left hand speedbar screens as shown in the screen shots.  I really need to get back to the work I'm supposed to be doing (Don't hit me, Monty, we live to serve the Precious !) so follow the link and maybe you will have better luck.

EDIT: Sill rabbit, As soon as i finished this post I remembered that we now have a nifty Classfile checker, i ran it and all the PALS noted entries were these:

Tartenmuche, I have to test it. It is quite strange, because the Rearm / Refill (I never implemented Repair, because who would fix a real problem of your plane in a few seconds?) doesn't have anything to do with the HUD indications.

No, make it separate is a lot of work, and I don't see the goal of having it controlled somewhere else, what creates more dispersion instead of keeping it as simple as possible.

Regards,

Dear Benito,
OK, I'll wait for the results of your tests.
By the way do you have any idea why the trim indications don't appear in every cockpit, I mean without the VisualMod in operation?
If I am boring you, just forget my question.
Thank you and best regards.

So does that mod now incorporate ZUTI MDS variables? I would love to figure out if it is possible to set up R/R/R on missions like I was able to do with CUP. Now I cannot find anything about it....

Any info is appreciated.

Cheers

I implemented partially the Zuti Variables, yes. I tried to keep the same idea to don't generate more divergence.

Now I don't remember what is fully or half implmented. The goal was only the RR(~ last R) but nothing else from the Zuti features.

My goal is to make missions that allow respawn without restarting the entire mission. I used to do this.
I will keep digging.
