Ahhh ... I was wondering if it had to do with my installation or not. If it's a new buttons question then I'm sure that will be updated soon ...

Hi folks,

The AviaSkins site has 2 files for download. The P-40 LL.rar and another file FMP40.rar.
I decompressed these but I see no instruction on the FMP40.rar which only contains a file named P40 with no file extention. What are we supposed to do with it?

Keep it in the Gui Folder and the air.ini should be there for you too.

This is a somewhat different way of adding mods apparently.

Just for clarification: into which gui folder should this P40 file be added? The one in the MODS directory, or into the one in the Root directory under ...Files/gui ... ?

And should it be placed in ...STD/gui... / ...Files/gui

or under

...STD/gui/game/...  / ...Files/gui/game/...

And this P40 is the file that 'compensates' for several of the P-40's not being included in a normal buttons file?

Don't want to ask too much, but when i first tried installing all of the P-40s in this mod, I really got into a tangle and had to fiddle and fumble about to get the game working again ... wouldn't want it to happen again ...

I goes like this     MODS\P-40_LL\Gui\p40... The Gui that came with the Mod. Note that there is two of the p40 files, only one is needed.

I created a Gui folder in MODS/P-40_LL/Gui and I copied the P-40 file into it, but it didn't work.

Not the P-40 file you keep its the( p40 file ).  The P-40 file is the readme containing what entries you make.
