It seems like a class file problem. Do you use the class file that came with this campaign?

It seems like Bf-110C4 is set up as a transport plane in your class file. Check Aircraft Settings Panel in DCG. Also, Bf-109E4/B may be missing from the class file and is replaced by Bf-110C4.
i created a player defined campaign and with the jg26 i got a bf110 fighter sweep mission the jg1 gave me a sweep mission but then cleaned up to a ground attack mission

i cant post external links so i had to embed all the images here

Kiwi, did you read the instructions in the first post?

Instructions how to install Third Party Campaigns in DCG:
Decompress the Channel Front.zip into your DCG home directory.
Make a backup of the DGEN directory in you IL-2 game directory and copy the DGEN folder from the Channel Front folder to your main game folder, overwrite when prompted.
Copy Paintschemes folder from Channel Front folder to main game folder
Start DCG, select Optional Third Party Data Folder.
Navigate to the Channel Front folder and select allcampaigns.dcg
Select Off Line Career (Full Auto-Generation Mode) in the DCG main screen.
Launch IL-2 and select one of the two careers mentioned below (they are all linked).

Please follow the install instructions.
For the campaign to work as planned, please start the campaign from Il-2 (Pilot Career -> New -> Luftwaffe -> Winter40).
Do NOT start a player defined DCG campaign from DCG panel unless you know exactly what you are doing.

OK, then. Tried to recreate problem, but I couldn't. However, in the timetable it says:

Code: [Select]

  19401221 NewPlane Stab_JG260 BF_109F0
  19401221 MoveSquad I_JG260 Lille_Marcq_N1_Airstrip
  19401221 NewPlane I_JG260 BF_109F0
  19401221 MoveSquad II_JG260 Drucat_N1_Airfield
  19401221 NewPlane II_JG260 BF_109F0
  19401221 MoveSquad III_JG260 Wevelghem_Airstrip
  19401221 NewPlane III_JG260 BF_109F0
  19401221 MoveSquad II_KG20 Vendeville_N2_Airfield

So, no matter which plane you choose you should end up flying Bf-109F0 when the first mission launches.

Does the F-0 work in your DCG?

Ok, check your IL-2/PaintSchemes/Skins folder. Is there a folder named "Bf-109F-0" ?

If not, add it and test again.

 :)

If there is no folder for a plane in Skins folder, DCG thinks the plane does not exist and replaces it with a random one. In this case DCG replaced the missing Bf-109F-0 with a Bf-110C-4.

If the class.dcg entry for C-4 is correct I have no idea why it acted like a transport plane   o_O

has someone made a mod which adds folders for all of the cup planes? sounds like it would be very useful. also how would i go about flying a plane that isnt the bf109f-0

https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,4278.0.html doesnt seem to work  :-|

DCG is one of those applications that can be very tricky to install correctly - This is why I specified to make sure DCG works correctly before my (or any) 3rd party campaign is installed.

Skins Folder Tool doesn't work because it was not made for CUP.

IIRC I made it sort of automatic with this tool: https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,51325.0.html

All you have to do is to load both your air.ini and your DCG class file into DIT. All planes marked as 'verified' will have a corresponding folder afterwards.

Once you install DCG correctly, you can fly any plane you want - during the next generated mission. The only caveat is that you have to start the campaign with one of the aircraft available to you - short of hacking the .dcg files which you shouldn't do unless you know what you are doing. Actually, once you set up DCG correctly and install the campaign, the Bf109F-0 is one of the aircraft at your disposal at the start of the campaign.
