WAW Motor Pool add-on for WAW Part 20 (WAW20).


"Motor Pool - a group of motor vehicles centrally controlled (as by a governmental agency) and dispatched for use as needed"

Here is an unofficial update for WAW20 which adds some new vehicles (Epervier's Vehicle Pack 7, HSFX6 vehicles and LAL ROne's vehicles) and adjusts some LODs and mat files to avoid disappearing parts and hopefully improve performance. This mod is only tested on, and intended for use with, WAW Part 20. If an official update is released after this mod, de-activate this mod before applying the official update and do not re-activate this mod until such a time as a new version is released.

If you have an unmodded WAW20 you can use the JSGME version which replaces the default WAW20 ini files.
If you have modded your WAW20 install (chief.ini, stationary.ini, technics.ini or technics.properties) then you need the manual version which lists the entries to edit/insert to the ini files.

JSGME Version: Unzip the #WAW_MotorPool_Pt20 folder to the JSGMEMODS folder and activate through JSGME.exe.
Manual Version: Copy the .sfs files to the SFS_MAPS (yes, you read that right) folder and add/edit the entries in the ini files after making a safe backup of your ini files.

JSGME Version: De-activate #WAW_MotorPool_Pt20 through JSGME.exe and remove the mod from the JSGMEMODS folder.
Manual Version: Delete the XUPMOT01.sfs file from the SFS_MAPS folder and copy the backup of your ini files over the modded ones.

All the vehicles (models and skins) included in this mod are the work of their original authors (Epervier, LAL_ROne and the others). My only contribution was to collect them together as a mod.


If you would like to combine the Dry Dock and Motor Pool JSGME addons into one then here is how:

1. Deactivate the Dry Dock or Motor Pool JSGME mods through JSGME.exe
2. In the JSGMEMODS folder create a folder called #WAW_MotorPoolDryDockCombo_Pt20
3. Cut'n'Paste/Drag'n'Drop the SFS_MAPS folder from #WAW_MotorPool_Pt20 and the SFS_WAW folder from #WAW_DryDock_Pt20 to the #WAW_MotorPoolDryDockCombo_Pt20 folder
4. Cut'n'Paste/Drag'n'Drop the #WAW folder from the #WAW_MotorPool_Pt20 to the #WAW_MotorPoolDryDockCombo_Pt20 folder
5. Unzip the compatibility patch to the #WAW_MotorPoolDryDockCombo_Pt20 folder and overwrite any files - http://files.moelan.net/apps/WAW_MotorPoolDryDockCombo_Pt20_JSGME.zip
6. Activate the #WAW_MotorPoolDryDockCombo_Pt20 mod through JSGME.exe

Friends, thank you for the effort :), but to download the file, detected corruption when trying unzip it  :(

kirk1965 - you posted the same issue on all 3 of Moezilla's downloads, can I suggest you try 7zip to extract the file ?

These files are unnecessary now, as they were implemented officially by the CUP team in WAW part 21. for more information check the following link:
