... here the result of my efforts :)

first a picture of the yellow 8 of JG 301 discussed above which i found:

it´s difficult to say it the fuselage is RLM 81 or not

here is my yellow 8

a Fw 190 A9 of JG 11 in the rare RLM 81/82/76 scheme:

and a Fw 190 A8 in the RLM 83/75/76 paintschme:

looks like the pack is getting complete ... only a few skins to do :)

please comment

You've find the picture! :) So nice! I didn't know how to insert it without putting a HTML link  :-[
Great stuff!! I like your skins! Yellow 1 is real cool! Kagero is a nice source of inspiration ;)
Concerning yellow 8 I like your interpretation.  8) And I'm looking forward to fly it  ;D Here are some comments. I think that the white bar is a little bit too large.
I don't know what the color of the cowling was, but I think that the front part of the cooling and the part in front of the windscreen is the same color.
I have the impression that the side of the plane is a little bit dirtier. But this is my interpretation! :) And, as you know, about this subject there is no absolute true!
Thanks a lot for your work. Looking forward to try your skins in your campaigns ;)

Hi Boelcke,
Thanks for taking my comments into account. :)
Yesterday, after answering to you, I was looking into Merrick’s Luftwaffe Camouflage and Markings 1933-1945 Photo Archive 1 (Midland Pub., 2007) to find which colour was the cowling and I have found Merrrick’s very interesting caption about this picture: “Camouflage appears to be 81/83 rather than 81/82. Judging by the dark colour on the open cowling in front of the cockpit, as well as on the fin, which looks too dark in tone for 82.” … “The 81 colouring can best seen directly under the cockpit quarter-light area and above the number “8””. … “the 76 colouring of the fuselage having been toned down with an overspray of 02.” … “The addition of dark mottles of 83 on the engine cowling had been done with a soft spray of closely grouped mottles to form an almost solid appearance.”
Very interesting, isn't it?! I had to zoom the cowling to see the mottles, but he is right! Merrick did a very interesting interpretation of this picture. German camouflage is always so complicated! But I think that is why it is so interesting! :)
Anyway it is up to you to choose your version of this beautiful bird. As far as I'm concerned both suite me!  ;D

Man you're just GREAT!
Yellow 8 is just beautiful! Choosing Merrick's interpretation is certainly as close from reality as it could be!
I like a lot the RLM 02 on the sides :)
Thanks so much for all those skins!!!!!!
Guess what I am going to do ;)
