Hello Guys !  :)

The corrected script has been made and edited in first Post !  :D

Missionbug : Thanks to you ! Without this incredible choice of maps, planes and vehicles, all missions building would be dull ! :P
I hope that you will be able soon to get back to the flying stick and hopefully, to the map creations.  As a mission builder, your hard work enable me to be creative and to always look to make more immersive and funnier campaigns...And that's cool !  8)

Tartenmuche, Griffon and Gastrasz : Thanks for your help, guys ! That's what I do like in SAS, we're a helping team ! I am actually working on a something a bit special and will probably need your advice next week  ;)

Have a good week-end !

Cheers

I'd like to play this, but when I tried the Bearcat campaign, on first mission, I had 15fps when looking around from my cockpit. I had to butcher the scenery (and I mean butcher, removing 75% of it) to get back to 40+ fps. It still looks very good with 75% of scenery removed, what's left of Poussin1's creativity is excellent.  Do you guys get 40+ fps when taxiing and looking at the full scenery ?

Also 1st wingman turns left and crashes into the trucks when I start taxi, but that's easy to fix (move start position forward for something like 5 meters).

I don't know if the "fly with highest rank" is  a limitation or an artistic choice. If you want people to be able to choose their rank freely, you just need to set the "non player's flights" to a different squadron than player's flight, for example  GBI/31 or GCI/1 for "not player's flight", GCII/3 for player's flight.

Anyway I'd love to see a light version of the campaigns, I like the idea and know missions will be enjoyable. Don't want to spoil on details, but I already loved 1st one (must have been russians though, I died)  :)

My rig is a core I5 at 3.0ghz, 8gigs of RAM, GTX970 4Go on windows 7

Nice!  so glad to see something like this.  I like what Mission_bug said in his earlier post.  He is one who has kept the Vietminh map alive.

This campaign is exactly the kind of idea I had in mind when I asked agracier to start the Viet Minh map project.  My idea for campaigns (since the viet minh did not have an air force) was to combine Korean War with French-Indochina war (same time period) where the Chinese communists would be involved with supplying aircraft to help the Viet Minh.  Sadly, I never continued with the idea after I got involved in other maps.  Now, I see that you have done it!  Congratulations!

Thanks for keeping the fictional dream alive., CT

Thanks for your post, CzechTexan !  ;D

I am usually not enclined to do fictional campaign (Never do a "what if" !), but when I found your Vietminh work, I couldn't stop thinking of it ! The maps, planes and skins are so rich that we have all that we need to make a good campaign.

If you have other good idea, do not hesitate ! Always happy to see that great minds think alike !  :P

Cheers,

Poussin !

I saw in the skins forum that you were looking for ZSF F8F skin that would not work on Gerd's new F8F-2.  The mapping for one of the wings was not right.  I was able to copy parts of the zsf skin onto Jaypack44's blank skin based on the new mapping.
