I have a quick question: Is the I-301 supposed to have the top gun blisters like the LaGG-3 and LaGG-1?

Just wondering, since other depictions of the I-301 (War Thunder) and one of your above screenshots shows the I-301 as having 5 guns instead of 3.

Hi again :) The screenies in the first post are from very early WIP versions of the planes. Comparing them with current released planes you can notice a couple of differenses ;)

Just did some research, and found out that the I-301 had a 3-gun armament for the first period of flight testing (ah, poor ignorant me, shakes head), with the extra pair of ShKas MGs added later. Can I assume that this mod is solely an interpretation of the plane in the first phase, or is the extra pair of guns going to be added as a loadout option later?

Yes, the I-301 is an enterpretation of the very first plane I-301, and LaGG-1 is like the rest variants, with extra ShKASes (it wasn't serial, too).
You know, it was pretty hard to delete that ShKASes from the 3D model for it to remain good-looking :D

There's a v1.01 is out.
It does not differ from the v1.0, only a description of the required mods and some files for this mod to work independently from PA_Jeronimo's New Mod Wheels added to README :)

What a pleasant surprise! I was wondering if anyone would ever create the prototype versions of these aircraft.

Thank you very much Radge. :)

It's nice to see these early less known variants taking flight in the skies of IL-2. Is there a chance we'll see more in the future ?;)

Cheers and thanks again,

Has this mod been tested with BAT? This set looks awesome and I would like to use them.
