Keyboard controls
« on: January 13, 2016, 03:52:48 AM »

Has anyone got a blank printable keyboard control list for CUP?  Or is there a way to extract that info from the game? I would like to work out a efficient keyboard key layout?
Unless someone can list their keyboard commands for me to see how they do it.
Thanks.

I'm not looking at it right now, but I believe there is a pdf in your original game folder that has what you are looking for.

honestly, I think that as you fly for a time you will find that your way of doing things with keysets and buttons on controllers (if you have any)
will change.   As you refine your way of doing things you will re-do different keys.  I have never heard of anyone else that has the same joystick,
power lever or keyboard keys set to anyway near the same things that I have.

I for instance, have my keyboard at a 45 degree angle on my left side, and my power levers & joystick directly in front of me.  I have things I need
quicker on the right side of the board & things I don't need fast and need to look directly at more toward the top of the board.

all things that pertain directly to handling the acft are on the joystick & power lever...

It will take you a short time to get it to where it works best for your particular style, but you will.

Happy flying..and may the force be with you...ha ha

Thanks, I will look for that PDF file.
I suppose the more I think about it, you may have to custom the controls keys differently, if you were flying a bomber, or if you were flying a fighter.
