So she will appear Monty?! That would be the best thing ever, I have many and multiple skin files belonging to that aircraft when I had UltraPack 4.11...I loved the Go-229NJ, I got a lot of kills with her. Without doubt like you said it's old, not surprising, but like a pearl in IL2 she belongs in the 4.12.2 CUP mod.

I just hope testing is successful with the NJ of the type.

Sure mate, you find the UTI yet?  8)

The UTI is very interesting, just to think that the Yak-7 Series was the most adapted of the Yak family, from single seat, to multi seat trainer variant, pathetic against 109's, 190's and 110's but can EASILY take down Stukas with it's little machine gun!

SWOTL looks very tempting  8)

CUP has a certain momentum of its own and several projects are at different stages.  We are having a good holiday and go out on alternate days.  Up in the mountains one day, the beach two days later, the park, the vineyards, Adelaide is great for tourists and even nicer to actually live there. 

The current routine gives me alternate days to play with Il2.  With both mothers over here meals are taken care of, the trees get watered, the cats are fed, the washing is done, and its a pretty pampered life right now! 

I haven't had this much free time since I was seventeen!  I didn't want to leave home back then either.   ;D

Next month they all go home and we get back to the daily grind again.  8)

WAW Part-18 is a Restore Point Install with a lot of classfile and *.INI tidying up for an even cleaner structre and better forward compatibility.

Plus I want to complete all the SWOTL testing...

It looks like an Arado AR 234b-1 Early Warning Project !! :o
I am impressed! I never thought I would see one, let be able to fly this aircraft.

from a discussion in tech help section, it seems that there is a problem with the i16 type 18 in stock dgen campaigns.

i'm mot sure that part 17 is responsible but as it modifies some i16 versions.

maybe someone more capable than me could have a look in the classfile.
or perhaps edit the campaigns files to remove the corrupted plane....

Hi dufrasnes,
The I-16 type18 became missing in the air.ini  after Waw15,  WAW 16,  and  WAW 17, updates became available.
I did a post  to ask Monty if it had been removed by accident or if was removed to tidy up the I-16 planes as he noted in his remarks he had tidied up these aircraft .
 You can add the Air.ini line from WAW 14, ( STD /com/Maddox/objects/air.ini)
          ie:-        I-16type18        air.I_16TYPE18 1                              r01   SUMMER
and the aircraft will appear .
Hope Monty will let us know if its all right to do that  or leave it out ,as I am half way updating a campaign that used this aircraft.

Thank you edc1, it works but we also need to add the Type 24 now also missing.

But some campaigns are still broken, like Finnish Fighter and Russian heavy bombers.
I heard Plane explode but I can't see the ground, only blue and pink area.
In the log file, no air.ini error so I don't know.

I was trying to sort out and compile the best 3D and sounds for I-16 series and those last two didn't look as good from the cockpit so I left them out.  I failed to consider that it might break DGen.  As of Part-18 then we will re-instate them, they work well now and PA_Jeronimo has also fixed these pits too. So we get all the I-16s back, with better sounds and better pits.

Meanwhile these are the lines for the air.ini, added just after type-17:

I-16type18        air.I_16TYPE18 1                              r01   SUMMER
I-16type24        air.I_16TYPE24 1                              r01   SUMMER

Sorry about that;  we try to disturb the default setup as little as possible but I do look forward to the day, not far off, when we can edit and setup DGen as easily as QMB, or at least FMB...



How about my super smooth screenies too?  I have been using 'Screenshot Studio' to take PNGs straight from the sim and convert to Jpeg afterwards for minimal loss of quality.  Well worth it.
