I dont know.
Everyone seems to be using diferent game versions these days.
Try and test with OpenGL (perfect mode) if you dont have that already in your conf.ini.
Awhile back someone was not seeing some objects because they they did not have OpenGL (perfect mode).
Check to see if you have it on.

Spot on, Max!

I switched to Open GL, and set Landscape Detail to "Perfect", and there they are, the two Bf 109's in all their glory, for the Schwarze Männer to start working on!

i would've thought OpenGL and perfect mode would be the default setting for most users in this day and age - really can't understand why anyone would have it on anything else ....
