Don't feel so bad. I did the same thing. For the life of me, I couldn't figure out why CUP missions would crash about 30 seconds after starting and I tried everything I could think of to rectify the issue. I never experienced a prior issue with CUP which installed and ran flawlessly. I assumed something was amiss with part 17 since I installed 15-17 pretty much consecutively. Then I read and re-read the Part 16 install post and realized that you don't actually "install" 16C; it's there as a backup. The instructions were a tad bid confusing since it does say "Simply UnZIP/UnRAR straight to your Il2 main directory", so I assumed this meant 16C as well.

At least that's the excuse I'm using.

Wow now I'm confused. I followed instructions and unRARed 16 straight to the Il2 main directory and apart from no opening cockpits on any of the Spitfires. I've noticed nothing wrong.

but 16c SHOULD not break anything, if you haven't modded your install after 16b then installing 16c would just overwrite your existing #waw folder with identical files

...I noticed that the Bloch MB-174 franken does not show up in the game...

...Some time ago I also mentioned that you do not use the most up to date version of the Potez 633 franken, a link was posted in the thread with working bomb doors...

The MB-174 is now named properly in Part-18 (TBA) and looks just great here.




The Potez family is also fully up to date now with the bomb door equipped model included.

Hello Simon, great to know you found the bomb door equipped version of the Potez, I tried to cut into the fuselage to open it out and do the job properly but had issues so that fix was for me the next alternative, not too bad if you do not get up close. ;)

Still cannot understand why the MB 174 does not show for me, I do not actually alter CUP in any way and just add your updates as instructed. :(

I was going to do as suggested and re-install but I could not find which part the MB-174 was actually added in with so have left things alone.

Looking forward to further updates, keep up the good work it is very much appreciated by all.

WAW Part-18 will be a restore point install - Providing a totally new #WAW folder again.  This should fix all outstanding issues.

WAW Part-18 will be a restore point install - Providing a totally new #WAW folder again.  This should fix all outstanding issues.

Hi to all! My very big congratulations for these three gorgeous parts!! A real Christmas present!!
I set them and the game runs smooth. I noticed some little..."troubles", I report them if useful for next fixes. I noticed them playing random...

  • Ju87C: I must to disable the mod "#waw-config ju-87 bomb release gear". When I try to play in QMB the loading stop at...100%...(?). I must to restart the pc by alt+ctrl+canc. In FMB the plane explode on the ground, both takeoff or normfly. Whitout this mod the ju-87C works well.
  • XC-47: QMB: if the plane explode in air the kills does not reported on killtable. In FMB when the plane explode in the air the kill is confirmed but on the ground is displayed a big flash.
  • PAL Chocks MOD: I haven't the guys for chocks...neither QMB nor FMB. Maybe  folder inside folder?

I not report the logfile, I don't know where this kind of "troubles" are in the list...

My very big heartfelt tanks to all CUP team!!

Hi Marco

Ju-87 Bomb Gear Mod, Known conflicts mentioned, that's why its an option.

XC-47 Its a lovely, quirky old RARE airplane.  Don't go blowing it up!  Just take the Brass for a ride or do some Pacific deliveries.  There is a torpedo option too I believe but seriously...

Chocks Mod - The guys are there for me.  Lets see if they show up for more people.  I will thoroughly test with others remotely too.  It may be something in your setup, we will find out.

Well, now chocksMOD works! As replied to me by Bergkamp in june 2015 (reply #11, https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,45743.0.html) I renamed the folder adding a !! in front of all. As explained by Bergkamp the folder must to be  load before the engine mod. Now the "ChocksMOD" works well.

But now can I to de-activate it again by jsgme or I must do it manually?

Chocks mod is kind of a funny addon but an important one, in TFM it was added I believe in pack 7.  ;) It was a nice sight to see it first hand but it didn't come with the little figures that run away from your aircraft after pulling the chocks clear.  ;D Best bit is when they wait for you to successfully move off! A brilliant addon for CUP.  :-|
