What an effort again! Where you keep getting the energy? Every Mod makes the Sim even more attractive.

After installation discovered one issue though.... the Focke Wulf F-8/U1, F-8/Pb, F-8 Late, F-9, F-9/Pb, G-1, G-2, G-3 and G-8 are not visible in QMB and can as such not be selected.

Is it my install or is it… a bug perhaps?  :(

Greetings,

Same issue as the others, Fw's 190A-2, A-3, F-9, F-8 series disappeared.

Hadn’t checked it out yet, but yep,... A-2, A-3, F-9, all gone here too.... :(

There must be a solution for this issue, I am sure about that.

I can confirm the same issues. Have notified about this to team members. We'll fix it. To those about to download WAW Pt-13; best not to download yet. 190's are indeed missing from this patch, can't have that can we. Truly sorry about this :(

Yes of course.  The trouble with big uploads.  But its no problem.

Update:
I just re-installed with the new #WAW, from my hard drive, and it all works perfectly.  Now I have to check the link for the proper version.

Mediafire are good to us but in the past we have had the issue where a newer version download has failed to overwrite a previous 'test' version of an upload, hence 'missing' data.

In those cases the only cure has been to delete the download and start with a completely fresh upload.  This will mean that the file has to be physically removed, for a short time, while the intended version is re-uploaded.

Fortunately, I have some time today so will start with a re-download and re-install.  If the issue is confirmed from that route will re-upload...

Thanks !
However, I think imo that frankenplanes do downgrade the quality of the simulator .

Frankenplanes are discussed at length in the CUP Manual.  The inclusion of some projects is useful to mission designers, largely for AI and scenery building.  The big scripted FMB campaigns are where #WAW really shines - and in those cases the limited number of Frankens and standins does make sense.

Continued development is also interesting and we have to make room for it;  The original Lancaster, for example, began as a semi-Franken and has matured, through 3D and texture updates, into the best simulation of this aircraft available anywhere!

I would rather have a frankenplane today than a 'perfect' model next year.
