A friendly "Bump" and also a few videos for Visual Guided Tours.
If anyone would like to add more things to this map.

Berlin Germany 1947 Rare Destruction #1

- Incredible color footage from the end of WW2.
First part is of President Harry Truman and high ranking generals visiting Berlin. Notice his
personal airplane and the flags that are painted on the fuselage. There is even a Japanese
battle flag on it!

See how Berlin was bombed - Many parts of the city were left untouched by bombs. Many factories
and rail-road lines were left intact.
Amazing color film!

Berlin Germany 1947 Rare Destruction # 2
-

Part 2 of the amazing color film.
Notice how the Berlin Olympic stadium was left untouched by allied bombs.
In this film, this time the film-makers take a drive through the city streets of Germany.
Seeing black and white photos is one thing , but seeing this in color is amazing.

These are the places visited in this film...
1)- OLIMPIC STADIUM. (cont.from part 1)
2)- BY RAIL TO ESSEN.
3)- Ruins in Hamm and Dortmund.
4)- ESSEN.
5)- THE KRUPP WORKS.
6)- KRUPP-CONTROLLED STEEL AND COAL RUHR.
7)- OBERHAUSEN.
8 )- Huttenwerk.
9)- DUISBERG.
10-Huckingen.
11-GELSENKIRCHEN.
12-Zollverein Colliery-(Largest Coal Mine) in RUHR.
13-BRITISH ADMINISTRATIVE HEADQUARTERS.
14-NORTH GERMAN COAL CONTROL.
15-(Former KRUPP Estate).
16-COLOGNE 80% Destroyed.
17-A SIDE TRIP UP THE RHINE,
(Note Destroyed Bridges and Barges Stranded by Low Water).
18-WIESBADEN.
19-STUTTGART.
20-NURNBERG and Palace of Justice.

Hi
I have version IL2 4.13 and SAP ModAct 6.2
I cannot load the map in QMB for instance after pressing the Fly button (does not crash but the button stays pressed for ever till i unpress).
I have re-read and re-done the install several times. But the following is still unclear to me:
Should all Berlin_mapmods subfolders be placed inside the SAS Mapmods or separately as per the path inside the zip?
Should The Mission\QuickQMBPro folders be unzipped as such inside the IL 2 mission folder or copied in side the corresponding IL 2 native folders? and should a "berlin" mission be created inside Mission>Quick>DE with both .mis files inside?
Thanks

The zip has #SAS folder and Missions folder inside with a readme txt with static.ini entries.

Btw my modpack includes this mod: https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,50919.0.html

That was a reply to both questions actually. The folder structure inside the 7z mirrors the folder structure of the modded game hence the files from the #SAS folder must be placed inside the games #SAS folder and then you add the static.ini entries and you're good to go.

after applying the instructions on all.ini and static.ini and creating a "berlin" mission with  the 2 .mis files inside IL-2 Sturmovik 1946>Mission>Single>DE (If I dont create this "mission", the .mis files dont show up in the list of Single missions), i tried the following:

1. as per the original instructions, unzipping directly in #SAS folders BUILDINGS_BERLIN and MAPMODS_BERLIN --> maps dont load when pressing the Fly button in QMB (when i compare to the other maps, it looks like its unable to load landscape, which is the 1st action in the load)
2. same as 1. + additionally copying the content of MAPMODS_BERLIN>maps> and MAPMODS_BERLIN>maps>_Tex into the #SAS>MAPMODS>MAPS (adding the files, not replacing anything)
--> same result
3. same as 2. + additionally copying the content of MAPMODS_BERLIN>maps> and MAPMODS_BERLIN>maps>_Tex into the IL-2 Sturmovik 1946>File>map adding the files, not replacing anything)
--> same result

What have I missed ?
