Problem with map

I'm using the War Over Italy map making a campaign. When I place front markers and save the mission the markers are there, but if I exit out of the mission, and go back in - the Front Markers are not there anymore.

Any suggestions why this would happen? The other 2 maps I'm using for this campaign does not have this problem.
