Well, except, you can't idle with SPS until touchdown (at down to 260). Dragchute can be released safely anywhere under 320, after touchdown - releasing in midair is proceeded one meter above RWY max, max speed 320.

But as it seems, elevator stops working at too high speeds, it might be able to fly the 190 with elevator working at slow speeds, just saying.

Which kind of reminds me - is SPS working on MF/Bis + when the 0-25-40 flaps will return?

EDIT: Well, my apologies Vega. I've found one interesting thing - landing speed / AoA table shows values for plane weight of 6250 - 7500 kg, where 260 km/h goes for 6250 kg. And I was landing with more than 9000! (Plane full of fuel + PTB) I prolongered the lines and... minimum landing speed, with AoA of 13° would be... 300... -.-' So I will run some tests with almost dry plane as well, to see how close we are.

Also, minimum speed without blown flaps is 300 (at 6250 kg).

No, how is it modelled on MF and bis. Since there are default IL flaps and no control for SPS, I wonder if it even works... o.O

Also, when I reduced planes weight I can touch down at some 280 after flaring from 320, 1 m above RWY.

The Mig-21PFM nosewheel is still inverted right. Always has been since day 1.

Well, of course 3D is not my era, but AFAIK there  was a hotfix for this, must search the thread tomorrow. If I find it I send it.

BTW..off topic, do the Migs have aileron trimming?  :-\ I ask because my stick is busted and with older jets I could trim it out.

I have started to get involved with the code of the MiGs. I've found some issues (related with the problems we have discussed with you Vega). I have already inverted the steering wheel in code.

I don't know how was the process of developing the 21s but several things were not fail safe.

Vega I focused on the MiG-21bis, but the changes of code would be universal. Please wait for news from me at least on the bis so we don't have to merge anything later.

IRL they had trim for every axis.

Another thing - the steering and brakes. The steering was done using differential brakes with one lever (to increase pressure in brakes) and rudder pedals - with changing the rudder position the pressure was divided to each brake. (That is - what is default for most tailwheeled prop.planes in IL-2)


Also, can anyone tell me if their radar is working? For me it is not working all right...
