flew on three Nieuport-17 against us three Aviatik_Berg_DI. Nieuports all shot down. everything was on autopilot. last Nieuport attacked all Aviatik_Berg_DI turns.

I do not use DBW 1916 I have my own assembly for the first world war. but I use the AI modes of DBW 1916.
Attack the enemy bots. Nieuport pilot is dead.

Hmmm...can't say I've experienced this
I fly heavily modded DBW 1916 and DOF setups, flying Bergs, Hansas and Phonix against Nieuport 17s and Hanriots
The last time I did this I set all a/c on veteran and experienced 15 minutes of extremely challenging flying  ???
I think I know what your problem is though... you get the same effect if you set say a Russian Farman against a RKKA Voisin, they'll sail serenely past each other without a single shot being fired  >:(
One thing I have observed with the new Austrians is.........( assumes Obi Wan Kenobi voice )...."The FM is strong with this one"  :D
From what I've read these a/c weren't quite as capable as this...the Hansa especially...that tiny rudder gave terrible lateral stability, so much so that later models had a retro fitted  rudder fin to avoid uncontrollable spinouts. ???
For me the new Austrians have a FM the Fokker D VII desperately needs.......( + the removal of that nervous "tic" from the poor old Fokker  :D)
Anyway I will further test the peace loving Austrians when I return from work tonight......

Cheers

Flew 4 veteran Bergs against veteran Spad, Nieuport 17, Nieuport 10 & Hanriot
3000m over Slovenia summer + Ardennes winter , no height advantage

D.O.F
On spotting the enemy all a/c "jockeyed for position" and attacked opposition a/c, usually in pairs, spirited dogfight, similar casualties on both sides.

DBW 1916
Bergs flying in tight formation, opposition performs simple Immelmann, "turkey shoot", opposition methodically "hoses" 2 Bergs....

Two remaining Bergs make vaguely defensive moves before being shot down by enthusiastic opposition.

I flew formations of Hansas, Phonix & Bergs in D.O.F & DBW 1916
Curiously, this only appears to happen to formations of Bergs in DBW 1916   :(

Cheers

Alfie

Its quite sad as the BERG is my favorite of the new Austro-Hungarian Trio. And it doesnt seem to happen with the Hansa or the Phonix  :(

Please, may I humbly ask for a 4.101 /SAS ModAct 3.06 compatible (non DBW1916) version?

Thank you in advance...

I also have the weird AI behaviour.

does not attack or defend if it's an AI flight or autopilot.
I use vanilla DBW1916

(Farmans for example do the same for me. They are behaving like bombers as well)

These already work in the two 4.10 installs I have Captain Diavolo, no reason why something made with 4.10 classes should not work in your install also so no there will be no additional versions, sorry.

Each of the three fighter types all use the same entries in the java 'TypeScout, TypeFighter, TypeTNBFighter' so it is a little odd that there should be a difference in the AI behaviour, in the FM also the same entry is used for each. ???

Sorry guys, that is one for the java Gurus. :D

Wishing you all the very best, Pete. ;D

OK
This reply post is certainly not of concern to any of U who are using large packs: i.e. CUP , BAT, DBW1916.
But if this mod is to be be use independently (ex.: reply #18 ) , the following finds should be of NOTICE:
I tried to install the TRIO in 412.2 SAS 5,3 (..the TRIO of "with their own slots" this aircraft is part of... ),
having all WWI weapons packs and numerous other WWI planes.
Hansa Bradenburg: No Prob. Phonix: No prob. Aviatik-Berg: crash at 20%. I.E. missing class files.

They are 27B8AD0E8EEEED90 and D6975D58172B9950 and F59D9B6488D3A332.

They are cockpit classes of Aviatik CI. Therefore that particular mod is a prerequisite8)

My install is 412.2+5.3 and loaded this plane the same day it came out or a day later.
I had no problems with it at all.
I ran into a UFO.
