Probably unwisely deciding to take on Skylla & Conky in their trusty P40s, by flying blue side, imagine my horror at returning to landing cross marked on map only being able to observe a tiny dot in MAMFO* instead of a carrier. Oh well thought I, I'll land ditch near the dot. Imagine my surprise at getting 'friendly ship damaged'  message!! Am I missing something here? :)

BD, it may be the spawn point, but the landing zones are either to the north with the carriers or to the west on the island.
