Hi Guys,
Reading your posts, and seeing that most of you are not having any problems with 11.
One thing I would suggest. Be very careful when it comes to putting mods into the #WAW.
We have put all the best mods available into the new #WAW that you received. (Restore Point).Check 10 and read once more if your having problems. Remember (At your own risk)?
Simon spent many many hours on making sure that you have the best of the best in there.
If you have a mod that you have used before and want to use again, get in touch with Myself or Simon and let us know before just firing it in to #WAW. We will check it out. This is where most problems usually arise.
We have seen this happen time after time. So! Be careful....and Enjoy

You are a wise man Kirby!  ;D

I agree with Chris too.  We do learn a lot on these forums and many flyers and modders help us out directly.  I think that what Chris is particularly referring to is the tendency to for some users to mod on top of CUP then ask for support when a unique new problem has been created!

Its all about communication.  As always, lets keep it tight and work together so we can enjoy the content and minimise those surprises.

Yeah, that's my line of thought too... Never installed any additional mods, never had any problems with my CUP installation...

I do the same, but I have the HD space so one of my CUP installs is clean, the other has been modded pretty heavily.  The irony of it though is that CUP has pretty much caught up to my modded version anyway.

That seems to keep me out of trouble :)

Theres some good stuff in 4.13 which I have working in CUP #WAW11 - namely the new Maps and Norway buildings, are there any intentions to include these in a new patch? Also the great extractions from Epervier which all work in CUP (well mine anyway). If this is likely I will reset my #WAW and await developments.

Only asking after reading RDDRs post and seeing the replies - you can easily overlook or forget what you've added so i'm now opting for the no add policy (except the Maps!!)

The only stuff missing big time is quite a few ships and a few more modded pits...

Hi guys, I installed part #11 and cup works fine. Many thanks again to captain Monty and his crew for this wonderfull work!!!

Just a couple of question: my Helldivers shows only the default skins, no extra skin as show in the first post of this topic (the green one or the double tone skin e.g.).

With part #9 and #10 I lost the previous backgrounds, as B17 "My Gal Sue" or the Me.262 backgrounds, e.g.: how can I recover they, please?

Ciao!

Hi Marco.

After installing the new parts 9, 10 and 11 I too had the issue of the new skins not showing. Everything started perfectly after the triple install except for the Helldiver skins issue. Maybe I hadn't read the part 11 detailed description properly but I believed that the new skins were additional ones, not new default ones. So I looked for a way to resolve it.

Firstly I deactivated all my JSGME mods. I then created skin folders for the 4 Helldiver variants and reinstalled part 11. The skin folders were empty and it occurred to me that the skins in part 11 are default and don't need a folder. I then ran the CUP startup selector and changed the setting from WAW to The Jet Age and back to WAW. Started the game and the default skins are there. Worked for me.

Thanks Monty, SAS and all the contributors for some absolutely brilliant stuff. I love it.

Hi Rddr & Monty, I don't want to be a spoilsport, but I must have some extra mods in my CUP install; in the 'first' WAW version I already had the problem of floating propellors with Ta-152C and Ju-88C and also the deformed Fw-190A4. For this I must have some collected files:
Ju-88C-6 files: Extract 4.12 Stock_fix Cowling Engines & prop\3do\plane\Ju-88A-4, rename the folder     \Ju-88A-4 to \Ju-88C-6.
Ta-152C's; Extract HSFX 7_fix Cowling Engines & prop\3do\plane\Ta-152C, C1 & C3, Leave only Prop1_D0, Prop1_D1 & PropRot1_D0, Make new map Ta-152-C0
and for the Focke-Wulf Fw-190A4; Extract FW-190_A3_ver1_5_IL2-MOD, rename 3do\plane\Fw-190A-3(beta) to Fw-190A4(beta)

Than I have the invisible paratroopers in the Ju-52, solved with adding the 4.09 version of the Ju-52.

And thisweekend I found the canopu of my bubble top P-47's to be vertical on the fuselage before the windscreen:

Solved this one with the old P-47_mod fix and finally I have this on my I-16's

I know there's a solution for this on SAS, but could not find it yet.

I understand that its better to keep the WAW folder as clean as possible, service would be much easier. But I hope you understand that I can't enjoy my P-47's and I-16's the way they where / are.

regarding the p-47 canopies. i had this problem with my old cup installation (pre WAW pack 9). i fixed this by adding some files myself from some p-47 pack, this was mentioned somewhere in the CUP mega thread i think.

but after the WAW 10 pack with a really clean #waw folder (non of my old self made fixes) the p-47 cockpits actually are fixed properly by default for me. so it should be fixed, i think. maybe you missed to replace an updated SFS file? the updates actually replaced some old SFS files in the SFS_WAW folder (with various other fixes like this).
