Hello

I'm just wondering if there's any dynamic campaigns for RAF aircraft (Spitfires, Hurricanes, Mosquito's etc.) over the Western Front/Normandy, perhaps even some USAAF ones, that are compatible with v4.12 and CUP and work with stock DGEN (I can't seem to get DCG or other versions of DGEN to work in 4.12/CUP)?

I'm guessing the answer is no as I've not found any so far, but I thought I'd ask here in case I'm overlooking something.

To get the most out of the stock dgen ETO theatre, you need to buy BoE, without it you can have EnjoyR patch 5.2 http://www.mission4today.com/index.php?name=Downloads&file=details&id=1972

There was a "Channel Front Campaign" by Boelcke which was exactly what you're looking for but I cant locate a download link, his m4t account is empty

Thanks.  I just tried your dgen folder and unfortunately only one of the RAF campaigns, the Singapore campaign, will generate, but that's the stock IL2 1946 RAF campaign anyway so I'd expect that one to work.

When I select, for example, the Channel Front campaign, and then click on the Generate button, nothing happens.  I've had that before with other DGENs but I don't know why it happens or how to resolve it.

The EnjoyR patch 5.2 appears to work for most of the campaigns available, apart from the BoE (both), 2nd Tactical Airforce (both), and Generic ETO.  They do as above, I click on Generate and nothing happens. 

Haven't tried any for the other countries though, so there's probably more of the extra campaigns that won't generate but at least it looks like the RAF Western Front campaigns work.  Many thanks for putting me onto that.

Try to add the latest dgen exe:

You should also check the DGen.log for more info.

OK tried the latest DGEN.exe, didn't resolve the issue.

I tried the BoE Fighter campaign again and then went to check for a Dgen.log and there wasn't one, but there is a DgenERROR.log and right at the bottom it has "Cannot find plane MOSQUITO16".  Same error at the bottom of the log when I try the other BoE campaign.

When I select the Generic ETO and click the Start button that just boots me straight back to the main menu, no Dgen log is generated either.  No other log files seem to be modified at that time either according to windows.

The error in DgenError.log for the (NWE) 2nd Tactical Airforce campaigns is "Cannot find plane TEMPEST511LBS"

So presumably the game can't generate the campaigns because those planes are missing.

No idea how to fix that though and even less clue as to what's wrong with that Generic ETO campaign.

I did not try all the campaigns because there are so many and I play mostly eastern front and mto.
Now I see that there are some missing planes, sorry about that.
Meanwhile I fix this you should go with the Enjoyr patch for no addons v5.2.

No worries.  The EnjoyR patch has the same missing planes issues.

Not too worry though I can play most of the additional campaigns and I'm happy with that as I was only really looking for some RAF Western Front campaigns.  Doesn't seem right not having any.

They are both for Asura's DGen_mod (please use esclusively that included in campaign pack, as is), but can't figure why they shouldn't work in CUP.

Guys, You started from tha tail-end charlie side of this, modded dgen folders? Payware BoE compatibility? Enjoyer patches? No no.

The simplest thing to get working Westfront 2 TAF campaign is this:

Download and instal Paul Lowengrin's 'IL-2 Dynamic Campaign Generator 3.43.
There s already good Normandy 44 campaign for RAF and USAAF in there using stock Normandy map, and you can mod it simply using the generator functions or mod it some more using idiotproof guide from mission4today site. Just search on M4T site for "Typhoons Over Normandy: How to make your own custom campaign".
