Well I have been experimenting with text to speech.

At the moment I am using the built in windows text to speech system, so ATC sounds like Microsoft Sam.

Which I hate.

Before I start thinking about other solutions, and increasing my workload yet again, what do people think of "Microsoft Sam"?

Is it available in your native language?

Would you be willing to install other voice packs?

The less conversation mod is a great idea from CY6. The radio speech in combat is a thousand times better.

If you are trying to create new voicepacks try to use these slangs used by different air forces (It is lot of work,though I tried it once) :

In my opinion Microsoft Sam is 'a bit' robotic. and unfortunately I haven't found anything about it in my native language.

Some time ago I played Battle of Britain: Wings of victory 2. There are excellent speech for the Luftwaffe and the RAF. Appropiate codes are used and so on. Perhaps you could ask the creators at A2A sims if it could be used.
