C.U.P: Map loading error
« on: March 21, 2015, 06:24:16 AM »

Hello,

I'm having a bit of a problem.

My game seem to be unable to load any map when pro combo is enabled. I don't know how to fix this.
The FMB does the same as well.
Here's a pic:

Please help,

Clint

Hello,

I had exactly the same problem following manipulation on conf.ini / in-game screen resolution while trying to have the new CUP slashscreens. (and apparently you still have the SAS ones).
Solution: re-installing the conf.ini I saved before any change (and I hope you saved it too!)

Hope this can help you.
BTW, if your problem was the CUP splashscreens, the solution is here:

According the last lines in 2nd screenshot there seems to be an issue with the BumpH files related to the waternoise .tga's.

It would not surprise me if you can load a wintermap with ice on rivers instead of animated water.

I did modify the "sound" part in my conf.ini.
I just tried to set it back the way it was.
It seemed to work, there was no map load error, but when I got to 100% it said: Null

So, I'm currently re-installing CUP. I will let you know what goes on.

Thanks for your help,  ;)
