W.A.W 70% CTD on start (SOLVED)

Hello,

I have just installed C.U.P pack. No mods were added yet.
I'm having a 70% CTD on the 1st loading page.
Only does that with W.A.W.
J.W works like a charm.

I have tried enabling/disabling "pro-combo" with JSGME. 70% CTD always.

It's either in the manual or the DL section that referrers to WAW glitch & you have to delete some files and replace with those shown....
happened to me also...

Look for post #221 by Griffon_301 on the main "Community Universal Patch C.U.P." thread (around page 19 for me), which contains a fix for the 70% CTD issue.

It basically involves some simple editing in Notepad of an .ini file to correct a few data entries. Presumably the CUP team will hotfix the install files in due course.

Worked for me.

How long ago did you d/l WAW part 7?  Monty updated/fixed that part.   D/L it again and overwrite all file and it should work fine.

OK - now just d/l the single WAW part 7 file, overwrite and you will be fully up to date.

I did download the W.A.W part 7. overwrote everything.
What exactly did this part update? do you know?

It fixed the Opel Blitz truck issue and the C&C data.  And I have a feeling you are going to need this part for WAW Part 8 whenever that shows up.

I tried the fix on page 221 but still no luck.:(

I noticed though that when I extracted part 1,2 and 3 of WAW there was "an unexpected ending" in the archive or something and it claimed that one file was corrupt after extracting. Tried both 7zip and winRAR, but I get this every time?? Downloaded the map parts and then WAW parts from mediafire.
