Itried to find the story behind this one, but I simply aint got the time, the serial number is readable so I guess it would be doable. It is shared by the Flying Heritage collection.

B-25 with broken back Pg 2 >  Judging by the palm trees and the tail code it looks like a 42nd Bombardment Group Crusaders B-25J in the South Pacific, possibly Stirling Island. What baffles me is the serial number [43] 33298 or 33290. Neither lines up with a J model production run.
