I have a 410.1m DBW game version as well. This one, in order to work needed UP3RC4.
I transfered maps files in sfs format from both DBW and UP to SFS_AUTO of 412,2m / SAS modact v5.3.
Also text sfs files (textures from UP mounted first and from DBW mounted second ).
Then also istalled sfs objects files from DBW and UP.
After all sfs are auto mounted, all the info is in game, but nothing is "initiated". Textures are available right away. Maps
need their lines added to all.ini. Then comes the tricky part: a map does not
save if the objects on it are not present
in static.ini. I have figure out most lines needed to be added on top 412 in static.ini BOTH for DBW objects plus UP objects, but not
UP objects alone... I use universal_static.ini_checkerV1.3.exe to debug maps missing objects.
My goal was to have CANNON channel maps working, and they do. ( .. that was before TFM came out.. )
I activate and check maps as I need them, and do not bother otherwise... Added one object lines to static.ini recently.
Apparently I had missed that one object.
All that to say that
UP files are a good thing to have. They are even required in TFM, but TFM does not use DBW files as TFM is meant to be placed "on top of a future DBW412". Cannon maps are in the UP files and use only the UP objects. TFM has these.
